Sony's brand new JS1 all in one desktop certainly looks great and those vying to get an Apple iMac clone that runs Windows exclusively might just set for this sumptuous Vaio desktop.
Under its hood (or rather behind the screen), there's a Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 500GB hard disk drive and a 20.1-inch X-black LCD screen - capable of displaying 1680 1050 pixels - plus a webcam, an Intel's own integrated X4500HD graphics module.
Plus it will be able to run BluRay disks (although that's an option that's not even mention in the press release) as well and comes with a rather good video/photo editing package - Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and Premiere Elements 4 are no slouch either.
The JS1 will also come with wireless 802.11n connectivity and a Sony Reality Digital Signal Processor chip that will introduce the user to "an impressive virtual surround sound" when paired with Dolby Home Theater technology.
There's no info about the release dates or the price of that gorgeous piece of technology. However, do bear in mind that Apple sells a more powerful iMac for £1099 that comes with a faster processor, 1GB extra memory and a dedicated video module.
